With the PVvis Display S, you always have the performance data of your Huawei Sun 2000 photovoltaic system in view. Whether Huawei Sun 2000 inverters or balcony power plants, our display offers you comprehensive monitoring and enables you to maximize the efficiency of the system. The handy, external display shows the most important live data from the PV system without having to go via a cloud. Various Wifi switches and different settings of the Huawei Sun system can be controlled automatically or switched manually via the device.
Comprehensive monitoring of photovoltaic performance data for Huawei Sun 2000 and balcony power plants
Monitor the performance data of your photovoltaic system in real time.
The PVvis display shows the most important performance data of your Huawei PV system. This gives you an overview of generation, battery charge status, consumption or feed-in of the generated electricity at all times. Communication with the PV devices takes place exclusively via the local network. The manufacturer’s cloud is not required and performance data is displayed almost ‘live’.
In addition to Huawei PV systems, various balcony power plants or sockets with power measurement can be integrated into the display.
Manual and automatic control of WiFi switches
Control WiFi switches manually or automatically for optimal energy management.
Switches and WiFi sockets from Shelly, myStrom or Tasmota can be switched manually or automatically directly via the display. For automatic switching processes, limits can be set for various power values at which the switch is switched on or off.
- Switch on the heating element when more than 1000 watts are fed in or when the battery is full?
- Switch on a light in the evening (with little/no power)? No problem with the PVvis display.
Up to 10 PV devices and up to 10 WiFi switches are supported.
Control of Huawei inverters
Take full control of your Huawei inverters and optimize their performance.
The PVvis display allows you to quickly set the charging and discharging power of a connected Luna battery. This option is useful, for example, if the energy generated is to be used to charge a car first or if the battery is not to be used when charging the car.
If desired, the connected Luna battery can be charged or discharged on command. This function can be used, for example, to charge the battery at variable tariffs when the price is low.
The PVvis display controls zero feed-in or limits export.
In addition, AC charging for Huawei inverters can be activated/deactivated as required.
The control of these functions is available both automatically and directly via the display with a click.
The 2-inch display has a magnetic back and can be operated for up to 2 hours without a power connection thanks to the integrated battery. Configuration is carried out via a simple web interface.
For further applications, the display has a Rest API and a built-in Modbus proxy.
The PVvis Display S can be purchased at a price of EUR 139.
Please note that the following points must be met for use:
- The Huawei system must communicate via a dongle. A version for the Huawei Emma is in preparation.
- Modbus must be activated in the settings of the Huawei system and this must not be permanently blocked by another application. These settings can only be made with installer rights.
- 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n). Display and dongle must be in the same network
The function can also be tested using the free PVvis app. If the app works, the display will also work with your system.
